Do you know anything about bluegrass music? I don'[t know much and don’t usually have the opportunity to hear it. But last week I had to go to a show with customers and it turns out the band at the club where we met up plays bluegrass music.

At first I thought it would be boring because I didn’t think I knew any of the songs they were playing. Then I listened to a few of the songs and I was surprised that I actually knew the words to most of the songs. So I guess I know about bluegrass than I though I did.

Now I want to learn more about bluegrass music. I hope there is a video on Youtube or some books at Amazon that deal with bluegrass for beginners. I want to learn and hear more – its good stuff.

One of the best country music artists is Kenny Chesney. This guy sings a lot of really good songs and he is so cute, too! I don’t know what that whole thing with Rene was about and they got married and then get it annulled. I mean, what the hell is that? If you marry someone you don’t get mad a week or two later and then pretend you never got married in the first place. I think Rene must be a fruitcake and poor Kenny got boonswaggled.

Some of the songs by Kenny remind me a lot of Jimmy Buffet. They are just nice and mellow and easy to listen to and really easy to dance to. I wish I could see him in concert sometime.

OMG this fucking man is the best country singer ever ! I absolutely love all of his music and listen to it as often as I can. I have followed his career for as long as he has been around. I know, I was just a kid when he came out, but I remember when. All my friends are predominately Hip Hop and R&B, rather than country, but I don’t care. I love all music. I always have. I can listen to any music and enjoy it for enjoyments sake, but there are some genre’s that I hold as favorite.

Country is on of them. No matter where I am, I can hear a good country song and have it make me happy. Likewise,  for classic rock. I can listen to Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendricks, Black Sabbath, etc.. and I am ecstatic.  I really don’t like polka though, especially Mexican polka. I love Mariachi though as it is really good to dance to.  Dancing makes me really happy as I can relieve stress through it. I can even listen to classical music and realx and enjoy it. Tchaikovsky is one of my absolute favorites as well as Mendelssohn and Beethoven.

My mom is taking the kids for the weekend and I have two blissful days and nights to myself. Now I just have to figure out what the fuck to do. I would love to go out with the girls, but I don’t know if they will be available. I guess I am going to have to call and find out. I really want to go to the karaoke bar. I love to sing and I am not that bad at it either. I am not just saying that, I always get lots of applause when we go there. It is called the Beer Box. They have karaoke every night almost.

We always have a fucking blast when we go. There are times that someone gets up and can’t sing a lick, but it’s all in fun so we don’t really care either way. I like that I can wear my jeans and a t-shirt there and not have to get all dressed up. I can just be me and no bullshit mask. I hate the whole pretentious dress up to go out shit. Why do that when I go out when I don’t do it everyday? Just plain stupid to me.

Have you heard about the free music online from a company called Spotify? It is like your own personal jukebox – you create playlists of your favorite songs and then listen to them on your PC or even your smartphone. That would be so cool! But when I went to their web site to sign up, I found out that it is not available to people who live in the U.S. Boo!
