School Days – Let The Traffic Nightmares Begin
by Sue on Sep.03, 2010, under Life
Yesterday was the first day of school for our county. Which means that traffic is going to be a nightmare once again each week day morning due to all of the big yellow school buses that are the busiest in the morning making their rounds around the neighborhoods picking up the K – 12 students to get them safely to school.
It really messes up a lot of people’s morning commute getting stuck behind a slow moving, ever stopping and going yellow school bus. I’m just grateful that most of them are done by the time I’m heading home in the evening.
Hurricane Earl
by Sue on Sep.01, 2010, under Life, News
The forecast for Hurricane Earl is still pretty threatening for the East Coast. The people on North Carolina’s Atlantic coast and Barrier Islands are going to be evacuated. That is always a huge problem for the people who live there. Evacuation means boarding up your house, loading up the car with as much valuable stuff as you can squeeze in, and heading west in miles of backed up traffic to try to get to higher ground.
The hurricane has sustained winds of 135 mph already and the forecast says the winds could easily reach over 150 mph when it hit the North Carolina coast. My heart goes out to the people who live in its path.
End of Summer
by Sue on Aug.30, 2010, under Fun Stuff, Life, News
Cannot believe that summer is about to be over. The unofficial end of summer is always Labor Day weekend. After Labor Day, all kids are back in school, the East Coast beaches switch to off season rates, and the weather takes a turn for the chill.
This Labor Day weekend is looking pretty risky for people who want one last weekend at the beach. Hurricane Earl is headed north from the Caribbean and could easily make landfall anywhere from North Caroline to Virginia or any state further north all the way to Maine.
Really hope that this hurricane bounces off the coast and heads out to sea without causing much damage. Hurricane season is still young -we’ve only gotten 6 names storms so far this year.
Found the solution, a penis pump!
by Sue on Jan.24, 2009, under Adults, Life
Me and my husband have been having a hard time getting him hard we tried everything from pills to porn movies and nothing seemed to work so he went to the doctor and he recommended a penis pump to help him get and maintain an erection and I can tell you that yes penis pumps do work at doing both of these things. He says he almost kicks himself everyday for not trying one out earlier because he heard from some friends that using a penis pump worked for them.
Anyways I can tell you that we have been very busy for the last couple of weeks making up for lost time but I plan on getting back to blogging here on a regular weekly basis for awhile because it is a fun outlet for me!
I am so happy the way it turned out!
by Sue on Nov.09, 2008, under Life
With the way the election turned out and who the winner was made me so happy I cried for a bit. I think this man is going to do great things for us all and I hope that he gets a second term to do just that and more! There is a lot that needs to be done but I look forward to seeing it become a reality under his Administration.
My question to you is what do you want to see happen in the next 4 years and why? I would lie to see a more sensible drug policy here in America were people are given treatment instead of prison time!
